Amy de Wet is a registered psychologist who is passionate about seeing people reach their full potential in life. She completed her Master’s in Clinical Psychology and is currently undertaking her Clinical Psychology Registrar program to become endorsed as a Clinical Psychologist.
She has worked as a psychologist for a number of years in private practice, educational and hospital settings. Amy has specialised experience working for the Sunshine Coast Hospital Health Service within the Musculoskeletal Pain Clinic and Palliative care teams.
She utilises a cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) framework to successfully treat clients who present with a variety of difficulties. Amy is passionate about helping individuals develop the psychological and emotional tools to thrive.
Special interests: Anxiety Disorders (eg. Generalised anxiety, OCD, PTSD, social anxiety, specific phobias), Chronic Pain, Grief, Chronic Health Conditions, Self-esteem and identity issues, and Depression.
